Why Souljournin'?
I will start this blog by stating why I actually don't like blogs. That makes enough sense right? I do not like blogs because I have often come upon a growing trend of arrogance and ignorance splattered across the blogosphere. Everyone is now an "expert" and can attack and tear apart straw man arguments and not have to ever confront the actual facts or the person behind the argument.
I even deleted my own blogs which seemed like the whiney rants of a prepubescent tween something. I was disgusted with myself and my thoughts.
BUT NOW...
Leaving the US in less than week I want to document and remember these thoughts, feelings and experiences. I want to share pictures and achievements and disappointments and joyful moments and also contribute socio-political commentary. Thanks to the urging of close friends, family and my wonderful hubby, I am going to try blogging again....
So let the documentation begin less than 10 hours before making our week long journey to the island of Singapore with one tall handsome man and one feisty young toddler who we will call Miss A. Together, we will make the 10 hour flight to Hawaii and a week later make the 13 hour flight to Singapore where a new life will await. Well...more like new location.
I have no idea where this journey will end...but I know that we are not stumbling around in the dark. We are trusting in the "God who sees us" and knows our beginning and our end.
So lets get to Souljournin...
